3G and 4G Wireless Speed Optimization Chart | How Fast Are 4G and 3G Internet
Average Wireless Speeds
In a research shows that the demand on mobile broadband networks is near about double every year, so there is definitely no room to remain idle , In U.S. advisory wireless leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). "The results of this year's PCWorld study clearly show that most wireless network operators are continuing to invest significantly in their 3G networks, adding capacity to ensure that speeds remain competitive.
Verizon came in second, with up-to 14.3 Mbps for downloads, on average, and average upload speeds up-to 8.5 Mbps. (Although it comes in slightly behind AT&T, Verizon, BGR notes, has a larger footprint and 90$ connectivity.)
AT&T's Forth Generation (4G )LTE network was found fastest, with average download speeds at 18.5 Mbps and upload speeds of up-to 9.0 Mbps. Its older Third Generation (3G) network, by contrast, averaged 4.3 Mbps download and 1.1 Mbps upload. AT&T's LTE network had a 81.7% network connection rate.
Sprint averaged up-to 10.3 Mbps for downloads and 4.4 Mbs for uploads, and the network was accessible 50.2% of the time.
