What is RTGS in BD?

Real-Time Gross Settlement(RTGS) RTGS is a real time fund transfer system from bank to bank within a short time (30 Sec.) where transfer of money or securities takes place from one bank to another bank.

Bangladesh Bank(BB) is going to start RTGS from 22th October,2015. Bangladesh Bank expects to run RTGS and announced to government bank, commercial bank,private bank , foreign bank and others bank for a reliable fund transfer for the big volume (minimum 1lac. Taka).
